Are you able to hold on to these 2 units if the situation turn bad?
How is the rental yield that you get from these 2 units?

If you have the intention of cashing out the profit, go ahead with it.

Hi Ken,

Parc Oasis units tend to command good rental yield due to proximity to chinese garden MRT station.

If you have the holding power, of course it is better to hold on and continue to earn the good rental income.

On the other hand, depending on when you bought the units, it may be good to sell to cash out on the profit. With all the uncertainty looming in US and europe, no one can predict when will the market turn down.

Actually, my advice is pretty much the same as your initial thought. Assuming you are staying elsewhere, you can sell one of the unit and continue to rent out the other unit.

Cash out on one unit and continue reaping the good rental income from the other unit.

Hi Ken,

Another point to note would be to determine how you want to restructure your portfolio. You would have to determine if you would get more out of your current rental vs another investment in another place. Let the numbers do the talking not the feel of the market. Look at charts to determine what is the upcoming performance of the property that you will be considering.

Hi Ken,

What you are proposing will be the most neutral solution since in the event of a downturn, at least you have already sold 1 unit and if otherwise, you'll still have 1 unit maximising your investment yield.

If you do have this concern, I'd say go ahead as no one can address this concern until the day it happened.
