I have rented out my HDB unit to a nice group of tenant for close to 2 years now. The contract will be up in a couple of months time, and they are requesting to extend the rental for another few more months (while waiting for their new home to be ready).

May i check if anyone in this situation before? Is it straightforward by just having a written contract between the tenant and I? Is there a need to e stamp?

It's a HDB unit and I want to make sure that i am doing it correctly..

Hi, yes it is very normal for tenant to ask for a few months extension once their lease ended and I have my fair share of such tenant too and most of my landlords have got no issue with that.
