Asked by
I have recently purchased an EC with my fiancee but things have changed for the two of us and thus we're looking to terminate the purchase.

I'd like to find out what other alternatives there are, other than to terminate the purchase. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
It is costly to terminate.
Unless you or your fiance (ex) already decided to move on to a new relationship, then it might be necessary to cancel the purchase with the developer and forfeit part of or entire deposit.

Either that, or hold your EC until end of 5-year MOP to sell the EC unit. While u are holding, you can rent out room(s).

Shorter pain is better than 5-year long pain.
