Inheritance and Legacy Planning

I have paid a deposit fee of $5k for a resale flat and approached the same agent to sell my flat. However no viewers for my current flat blk 456 hougang ave 10 for about 3 monthd. My agent called and informed me to book an appointment date at HDB. If there any legal complications if I could not release my existing unit upon the expiry of the appointment date. My wife and I thinking of forfeiture the deposit but do not know whether any legal proceedings later. My agent from Era and feel that he hiding few things from us.

Morning, Since both of you have inked the OTP, your seller will be able to claim damages or request for specific performance for the purchase of their unit. Your concern would be whether you need the funding from the sales of your Hougang unit to finance the purchase. Do feel free to contact me if you require further assistance. You may probably need to explore in delaying the HDB appointment while I get my team to look into how to expedite your sale of the Hougang HDB. Is there a ethnic restriction issue?
