i have own private house and my wife name not included the private house. im spr and my wife and my children also spr just got it 2month before. what my question is, my wife and my son together can buy hdb resale house with out my private house sales ? with out my name

wife and son can buy hdb resale,after 3years ???

Hi Mr Maris,

I'm sorry to inform that your wife and son cannot purchase their own HDB resale flat. In order for SPR to be eligible for HDB flats, both the Husband and Wife must be PR for more than 3 years, and they must jointly own it.

This will also mean that you will need to sell off your private house if order for you to be eligible for a HDB flat.

The only way to get a HDB flat, is your Son gets married to either a Singaporean, or another SPR (for which both of them have to be at least 3 years SPR).

Hi Mr. Maris,

Unfortunately for SPR household to be eligible for resale hdb, you need to apply with your married spouse and form the family to be eligible, and both must hold SPR for 3 years each to be eligible. She can't purchase with your son name.
