I have lease at the same place for the past 7.5 years doing either yearly or 2 yearly renewal. Before I sign the last contract, I had an agreement with the landlord that I might need to extend a few months upon lease expiring as my new place is pending TOP. She agreed and also pointed out that there is a clause for renewal up to 12 months. However, now she changes her mind and ask me to shift out. There is a gap of 5 months before my new place is ready. What action do I need to take and do I have a right not to move? She is ignoring all my messages and calls now.
