I have been staying in an HDB for more than a year and I have complete contact only with the Agent from viewing the house to signing the tenancy agreement. In the tenancy agreement, the name of the landlord is mentioned, but there is no other contact information about the landlord.
For all the activities in the house like aircon repair/cleaning/repair I have been contacting the agent and her response is very bad. She does not reply my messages and for everything just replies, I will check with the landlord and then responds me literally after a month or so.
How can I directly contact the landlord? Do I have the right to know about the landlord? Please help me cope up with this situation.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I'm really sympathize with your situation. This is happening usually in DIY transaction again.
There are no one representing your interest except to fend it yourselves.

You have the right to see document proving landlord legal ownership of the house, but landlord has the option of using the agent rather than revealing their corresponding contact.

Thus you have to check with the agent whether you are allowed to contact landlord directly.

Hope the above answer to your main concerns, but if there are more queries, please feel free to contact me at 90110636  , or email: ling.ck7@gmail.com if more information is needed.
I'll be glad to assist.

Best regards
