- I have applied for an Executive Condominium (EC) have signed the Sale & Purchase Agreement. Due to uncertain of my job status that I likely will be lay off, I wish to give up the Executive Condominium (EC). What are the possible consequences ?

Hi,

For cancellation of the S&P agreement, you have to discuss with the Developer side on this issue and they will have to approve. They also have the right to forfeit and keep up to 20% of the purchase price (ie your downpayment), due to your cancellation. Any CPF housing grants you have taken have to be returned to CPF with accrued interest.

Maybe you would like to reconsider and work out another arrangement? Thanks and hope it clarifies.
