I have an ec TOP in Nov 2016, however i am filing for divorce soon, what happens to the ec when I am divorced before I collect the keys and what happens if I am divorced after I collect the keys?

Afternoon,

The purchase of new EC is not applicable for single. Hence if the divorce takes place prior TOP, you will no longer be eligible. The deposit that have being paid will likely be forfeited. The other issue will be with the bank loan that you have taken up.
If you should divorce after collecting your keys, you will fall under the HDB requirement to sell as you are not longer eligible to hold onto the unit. SSD, legal cost, repayment on the mortgage loan and penalty charges will all kick in.
