Dear landlord,

Based on the latest regulation updated by HDB, the maximum subletting period should you be eligible to do so is up to 3 years where your tenants should be either Singaporean or Malaysian. For other foreigners the maximum period will be 2 years.

Nevertheless, the recent norms of tenants looking out for rent is usually 1 year lease.
