I have a child here studying in a pvt school, Can I rent a HDB apt for him ?He wil be 18years this OCT. Is he able to sign on the lease or should I be the one signing? Am I eligible to rent a HDB unit being a foreigner on a short stay?

Hi Kumar,

You are able to rent HDB in sg.
Your son is unable to sign as he is under 21 and not recognized in the eyes of the law.
