I have a B1 property at Bukit Batok, WCEGA Plaza. (High-level, great view, 3000+sqf) is there any chance to sell it out as I have been trying to sell it since last year, and there wasn’t much news from my agent. With covid happening, should I just lower the price or rent out the unit. And if I lower the price, how much should I lower it ?

Dear sir/madam,

Without more details, it will be difficult to ascertain what maybe the potential issues. At a glance, I see more than 30 PropertyGuru listings for sale while there were only 24 transactions recorded for the whole of 2020, essentially averaging only 2 transactions each month.

While reducing price is definitely 1 key driver to push for a faster sale, renting out the unit first before selling may also attract investors looking out for investment units. Given that this is a 60years leasehold project from 1997, there is definitely not many good years left to liquidate moving forward.

Why are you looking to liquidate this property if I may ask?
