I have a 5-RM to rent out fully in Strathmore Ave (ForFar Heights). Anyone give me a rough idea of the rent?

I haven't checked the HDB on the ethnic Rental eligibility (I have passed the MOP).

I need to move to a Condo near JCs (yet to decide).

Hi,

In the last 2 months, a few rental contracts for 110sqm 5-room units in Forfar Heights area went for between 3.1K to 3.3K It also depends on how well kept and how furnished the unit is, and how long the lease you are considering.

The current possible rental asking is around $3300 to $3500. Renovation condition and type of tenants will also affirm the rental amount.

Hi,

The average market rate for your area would be $3,000 to $3,500.

Whether you can get rental at the higher range will be determined by a few factors, some of which would be:
1) Condition of the house
2) Number of bedrooms
3) Type of Tenants
4) Length of Lease

    Thanks for responding. It would be good to meet and see the property (HDB) and prepping for Rent.

    I am looking to make this available at the end of January 2015, and during January I need to move to a condo property near Hwa Chong or National JC, within a walkable distance.

Good evening landlord,

You should be able to attain a rental ranging from $3.1k to $3.3k but this figure will still depends on house condition, renovation, facing, floor level, furnishing etc.

Do you have intention to move near to a JC that your child will be studying? Maybe you have to decide soon if not, there will be doubts on your lease start date for your HDB.
