I have a 1+1 lease. In the midst of tenancy, my landlord sold e unit to another owner. The new landlord is now asking for sky high rental price when I want to renew the lease, even though I am offering him slightly above market rate. I do not want the inconvenience of having to move. What legal recourse do I have l?

Dear tenant, As much as you may have a legal recourse in this case, an unhappy landlord and tenant relationship does not bode well for the tenure of your stay. Unless the rental arrangement can be agreed upon mutually, I would suggest that you seek alternatives.
