I had signed an exclusive aggreement with a agent , he did not give me a copy upon signing, I asked a copy, he told me he will send to me. But he did not. On the 3rd day after signing, I called him again and he said he had not submitted to his company and told him to cancel. He agreed. (There is witness to this call. ) I called his agency to check, the agency confirmed that he did not submit. After one month later, I rented out my unit with other agent. This agent submitted the agreement and the agency send me a bill to request me to pay him commision. May I know what I should do? I went to the agency, the agreement is supposed to bare three signatures, but only has my signature and the agent one who signed at th witness part. No company chopped, date recieved was one month after my signatue. I only got to see the aggreement from the agency, I was not given a copy at all. Should I go to see a laywer on this matter? Should I report this agent to CEA about his dishonesty?
