Dont be too confused. Kindly furnish me with your purchase completion date and let me calculate whether has your unit fulfill the minimum occupation period (MOP). If your unit has not MOP, you are not eligible to purchase a private condo.

Hi Confused,

It all depends on the date of your HDB purchased. If you bought your HDB :

On or After 30 August 2010
=> MOP 5 yrs

Between 5 March 2010 to 29 August 2010
=> MOP 3 yrs

Before 5 March 2010
=> MOP 2.5 yrs (if taking HDB Loan)
=> MOP 1 yr (if taking bank loan)

Once after your MOP, you can buy private condo.
