May I know if you're planning to upgrade from your HDB to a condo, or are you planning to get a second property for investment?

Do you know that you will be liable for ABSD for second property? Also there are loan restrictions if you have not fully paid up your HDB. You loan will also be subjected to TDSR requirements.

Good morning Harith,

Care to share this property purchase will be for own stay or investment?

Do you intend to hold on to two properties?

Do take note of these cooling measures:

1) If there's outstanding loan, you can only loan up to 50%. Your downpayment will be 50%.

2) if this is your second property ownership, you will be subject to 7% additional buyer's stamp duty.

3) if you have utilised CPF OA funds in current HDB, you have to set aside basic retirement sum of $83k in your CPF OA + SA first before you can use the excess CPF OA funds.

Not to worry, I have assisted my clients to enjoy tax savings and build on their property portfolio. Most of them still have reserved funds to pay the monthly mortgage even they dont have to work.
