Hi Sir/Mdm,

If you have no outstanding loan, you will be able to transfer the HDB to them as a gift. However, it is still subjected to HDB approval.

As for the eligibility to buy an EC, you will still be subjected to the eligibility conditions of purchasing an EC such as satisfying the income cap etc. You may refer to this link for more info:

Please feel free to contact me so that I can understand your situation better and provide you with further assistance.

Hi,

Yes its possible but transfer of ownership by gift is subjected to HDB approval. Your parents must also return the CPF utilized and accrued interest by you for the EA property when you remove your name, which can be substantial.

May I have more details so to make better recommendations? Thanks and look forward to value-add to your EC plans further.

Afternoon,

Firstly, you must fulfill the MOP requriement before you are eligible to proceed with the transfer.
Secondly, unless you have paid for the unit with cash or bank loan only, without touching your CPF, your parents would need to obtain loan to pay for the CPF funds that you have contributed.

Good morning,

You can transfer your EA to your parents by way of gift but take note that both of them need to refund you whatever CPF OA funds both of you have utilised on this property.

But due to some changes by HDB, it might be difficult to do so now unless it's due to financial hardship, divorce etc.

I might have a suggestion that can benefit all of you. Will you spare some of your time to hear me out?
