Asked by
I contacted an agent regarding a condo unit for rental.
Adverstisment stated that the unit was renovated and condo has a bbq pit.

After further check, we realized that the place was not renovated (door frame with termites, wall painting with yellow stain everywhere,...) and that the condo did not have any BBQ pit.

Who is responsible on thus case as the agent is saying that this is Propertyguru Ad and not him. and that property guru is using condo template.

Hi Hugo, besides all the info listed via PropertyGuru, the ownership is still on the tenant to check out the unit thru physical viewing. And if you are referring to this period of time, you could request for viewing thru zoom before you commit to anything.

Hi Hugo,

I expect the government to allow physical viewing in the next 1-2 mths. You ought to have physical viewing to avoid the surprises and to check out the noise level, the environment, etc

(Zoom viewing (or video taken on I-phone) will let you decide that the apt is "NOT SUITABLE" or lets you "SHORTLIST".

Talk to the agent (after watching the video or the photos) to get an idea of the apt.
