I am SPR from Malaysia. I just bought a resale HDB in 2012. I heard that HDB not allow SPR to own property oversea. How long do I need to wait before I can purchase private property in oversea or Singapore? What is the latest regulation? Thanks for the answer.

Hi Lalala,

You have to fulfill the applicable minimum occupation period of 5 years before you can purchase any private property be it in singapore or overseas.
