Hi,

For SPR first property purchase, the ABSD payable is 5% and not 3%. Once the transaction is completed, even if you lose the PR status, you need not worry about paying extra stamp duties as the documents have already been stamped.

For PR to purchase the first property in Singapore, the standard stamp duty is 3% and the ABSD is 5%, total is 8%. The stamp duty is upon your purchase, no top up if you lost your PR.
