i am on ep while my wife is a SPR. i realize that we cannot buy a resale HDB unless i get a PR.

i would like to consider buying a small private condo ? what should my budget be ? what can i get for around 600-650 SGD ??? can i get a 2 bedroom condo ? is it wise from an investment point of view in case i want to sell after 2-3 years.

Hi,

Like what Kevin has said, your budget of up to 650k; will be small size unit.
To add on, Resale market (ready units), most 2br units price higher than your budget (depend on location etc).
650k can still get good size unit at new launch (again depends on location, FH or 99yrs etc).
It will very much depends on what is your needs now.
The SSD is meant to help stop speculation. If you sell on the 3rd year, you'll be subjected to 8%stamp duty.
