I am looking to rent a place. As a potential tenant, am I liable for any commission to be paid to the property agent? Even if the rental is below $3k?

Hi Don,

As a consumer, if you donot engage the services of any salesperson to represent you for any real estate transaction, you are not complied to pay any fees, hiwever, do take note that as a tenant, you'll be required to pay for the tenancy agreement stamping fees on top of the security deposit and advance rental.
