I am looking to rent a landed property in Yishun area, preferably near the heartland estate.

I am also wondering if I am allowed to relocate my office to that home and conduct my business activity there ( Simple car detailing business and electronic bicycle repair)

I understand if there are no excessive noise while conducting any business in a housing estate, it's a green light. Please advice me, thank you

Hi Divaraj,

For home based business, you may wish to check with the relevant authorities. You may need to obtain relevant licenses to operate too according to your industrial regulations.

Usually, home based business is more of consultative nature and does not allow signboards. Your landlord should also be informed of your intentions to run a home based business at the premises.
