Hi,

The main concern will be the downpayment required for the EC, which is 5% cash, 15% CPF + 3% stamp duty. All these are payable within 8 weeks of booking, is that something you have on the hand at the moment? Otherwise, if you need your sale proceeds from the HDB, you might want to consider EC that is closer to TOP.

A smooth upgrading process from a HDB to an EC requires meticulous planning in terms of finances as well as the timeline.

Do you have an interim housing solution? If you have, then all the EC options will be available. However, if you don't then I will advise you to go for those ECs that have just recently completed or going to be complete within the next 6 months.
