Hi William,

Under the new rule, you don't need to sell your HDB flat if you buy a private property. The rule only affect those private property owner whom want to buy HDB flat.

However, pls take note of your MOP and loan issue.

If you have outstanding loan, bank can only loan up to 70%. You also must take note of your minimum sum in OA, chances are you need to fork out 30% cash for the purchase.

Hi William,

Under the new rulea, you do not have to sell your hdb flat in order to buy a pte property. You just need to fulfill your MOP before you are allow to purchase a pte property.

However, do take note that you will only be approved 70% of the if you have any existing outstanding loan.
