I am interested in purchasing a conservation house, between 1400-1600sqft for residence.

I am a foreigner, in process of becoming PR, and understand regulations on landed property. My budget is flexible, especially if there is renovation involved.

Two questions: 1. is this a good time to buy landed property?
2. Does anyone have appropriate properties to suggest?

Hi,

my humble view is that landed property is always in demand in land scarce Singapore and prices are on an uptrend. It is still a good time to buy.

May i know is there any particular area that you are looking at?

Thanks and best regards. Read More

I work near the Clementi-Holland V area, so it would certainly be nice to stay around there. But think that most of the properties (again, my main interest is in historic properties, or at least ones with some architectural character) will be around Joo Chiat.
