Hi Cecilia,

I would suggest you start hunting for your flat first prior to selling your current unit. Once you have decided on a unit, start marketing for sale at the same time. You can also do a contra if you are taking HDB loan.

Your home in Sengkang may not fetch as high a price as compared to those in newer ones near Buangkok MRT.

So if you are looking to cash out, you will need to do a thorough calculations on the cash proceeds that you can take back after buying and selling.
