Hi,

The 5 years MOP period computation starts from the official TOP date of the EC, not your move in date. If this official TOP date is Jan 2020, your MOP will only be fulfilled on Jan 2025. Typically 3 months earlier before MOP date will be more optimal because firstly you can't do official documentation and secondly, the first wave of buyers who have been eyeing this EC to reach its MOP, will naturally wait for more units to pop up before making their decision as they know typically there will be a few more units selling upon MOP.

You could start advertising your unit anytime, but you can only issue the OTP after you have met the MOP for your unit. Advertising it too early may not be the most sensible thing to do. Are you in an urgent need to sell and move on? Perhaps we can discuss your options further?
