Morning,

EC is under HDB ruling thus you must fulfill 5 years of minimum occupation period before you are eligible to sell it.

After 5 years of MOP, you are eilgible to buy private/ 10 years old EC but not new EC. If you are buying new EC, you have to sell your current one.

Hope I had answered your query. Feel free to contact me if you need any other assistance.

Warmest Regards,

Hi,

Yes, you can buy any EC or private condo in the resale market, there is no restriction.

Regards to MOP, you sell after 5 years, in fact Chestervale is already more than 10 years old, and so you can also sell to foreigners.

Hope that I had answered your question.

Feel free to contact me if you need any assistance.

Thanks and Regards

Dear sir/madam,

Buying an EC in the open market, you have no MOP restriction, however, should you be selling within 4 years from purchase, you'll be liable to pay Seller's Stamp Duty.

If you are looking to purchase a brand new EC from developer, you'll be required to sell your existing residential properties.

Hope the above helps.
