Hi Julie, with your budget of $3500, it is still possible to find a 2 bedroom unit near MRT and near to Orchard Road. But pls bear in mind that if it is a 1 year lease, you will have to pay a half month rental commission to your agent. For the electric/ gas bill, it will be around $200 per month.

Morning Julie,

You do have a relatively good budget for 2 bedroom rental within Orchard area. As for the power bills, it will depend vastly on how you are using it. I have had tenants who only spent around $120 per month. But I do also have tenants who spent $400 plus per month.

Hi Julie,

$3500 a month price range will probably land you somewhere within an apartment of size about 600sqf and your probable choices will be around Dhoby Ghaut MRT location. Within this location are usually low rise projects and densely populated meaning you do not have the luxury of unblocked views. I have assisted various tenants like yourself relocating into Singapore and perhaps will be able to share more with you on what to look out for in relocating into Singapore.
