I am an existing EC owner for more than
5 years. If I buy another EC, do I have to wait 30 mths before buying another EC or is there a new measure that I can sign a letter of undertaking with
HDB to sell my EC within 6 mths taking possession of EC?

Afternoon RL,

Yes you have to observe the 30 months waiting period before applying for new EC. If you want to appeal, maybe you can call in to HDB hotline.
