I am about to start renovation for my new 5-room BTO flat in Tampines Greenlace, and am considering to rent out 2 common rooms in July. I am still deciding whether to place an air-con in the rooms. Need advise on the income i will get if i rent a room with and without air-con. Also, is it better for me to purchase the furniture (bed, cupboard etc.) for the common rooms after finding the tenants so that their comfort levels is matched?

Hi,

With aircon and wifi it is easier to get a tenant. Another factor to consider will be the tenant profile you want to attract. Most white collar profile tenants will need them. However, for furniture its advisable to leave it empty first. Depending on the tenant profile they may or may not need them. Thanks and hope it helps.
