To know your affordability, you need to know how much CPF you have at hand. Along with bank's assessment on how much loan you are eligible to, you can then know what kinda of liquidity you have. After which, you can then look at the project/s which falls into your budget range.

Hi,

Its quite straight forward.

Firstly, go into a bank and check what is the amount that you are eligible to loan.

Secondly, ensure that you have enough cash or CPF for the downpayment. You need 5% cash and 15% CPF for the downpayment.

You can then narrow down to the targetted budget range of property that you should evaluate. With property, you may factor in cash inflow via rental options open to you.
