Hi,

You must be 35 years and above to qualify for single SC scheme, and have no other property ownership. You need not add your mum's name if you are buying under this scheme unless you intend to take the PHG as well.

You alone qualify to buy a resale hdb ' IF ' you are above 35 years old and need not include your mum name in the hdb .

' IF ' you are below 35 years old , you cannot buy a resale hdb unless your mum name is included in the resale hdb , you will have the added benefit of $$10k grant PHG parent housing grant if your mum stay with you in the hdb , but your mum is required to sell her condo .

Good morning,

If you are purchasing resale HDB unit under single scheme, you do not need to include your mother's name as occupier. However, should you choose to do it under Public scheme, your mother would be required to sell away her private property within 6 months from the key collection date of your resale HDB unit.
