I am a Singapore citizen and I am married to a foreigner. We are both working (making 8K+ per month) and we would like to buy a 1 bdrm resale condo. Is there any chance we could find something for less than SGD 630K. Although we have the ability to repay a much higher loan, we have the constraint of the downpayment (20%) and we have only 100K+ cash available at the moment.. I would appreciate any help on this matter. Many thanks!

Hi Kerthiga,

Based on the quantum budget you are working on, you should have some options, however, as you have mentioned that your wife is a foreigner, you need to work out on the ABSD issue (read here http://www.iras.gov.sg/irasHome/page04.aspx?id=12818).
