I am a foreigner working in Singapore in Employment pass. Is it possible for me to purchase a second hand condo and give for rent from the date I purchase? Is there any rule that I cannot rent t out and only use for personal purpose?

Hi Sir,

Yes, you buy either a brand new or second hand private property and rent it out immediately.

However, pls take note that you need to pay income tax from the rental yield.
