If its a SC-PR household application, there is no need to wait out 3 years. However, you will have to sell your existing property (if any) within 6 months of key collection to resale flat.

Afternoon Raymond,

As your spouse is SC, you do not need to wait for another 2 years before being eligible to purchase resale HDB unit. If your combined income is less than $10k and it's your wife's first subsidized HDB unit, she will also be eligible for housing grant.
