After selling, you will be considered buying your 1st property, hence you need to take up.a fresh loan application as the previous loan for the previous property will be discharged fully via the proceeds if its a profitable sale. The new loan.will be based on your age, income and credit profile at the point of.your purchase, up.to a maximum 80% of purchase price. Unless you are down sizing the property size else why not hold-on while it is buyer market. You can always refinance the current mortgage and cash out some if you preferred. Please drop me an email for me to share more on the details.

Do you mind sharing with me your motive of selling off current unit and purchase another property? From there, I should be able to advise and assist further.

As for mortgage, I will advise you to speak to my bankers first so they can advise you on your in principle approval thus you can gauge how much loan can you obtain based on your age, income, debts etc.
