I already co-own a flat with my brother (both singles) and our parents live with us. I am the financier for this flat. Can my girlfriend apply for a flat under the singles scheme? Once we get married, do I have to include myself as a co-owner of her flat. I have to keep financing my current flat for my parents to stay in as my brother is not financially stable.

Afternoon Gerald,

When you do that, both of you will own a HDB unit. But when it comes to unity by marriage, you are only allowed to have one HDB unit. I think you might to consider about this issue before moving on.
