Good morning Sir/ Mdm,

The recent cooling measures in 30 sept 2022 prevents private property owners (PPO) downgrade from their condo to HDB immediately.

PPO have to sell off their private property first and observe waiting period of 15 months before they can purchase a resale HDB.

Unless PPO are at least 55 years old, they will be eligible to purchase up to 4RM flat.

In order to do so, you will either need to wait out for 15 months after disposing your private property or if you are above 55 years old, you may look into purchasing a resale HDB which is 4room or below in size. Hope the above helps!

If you're below age 55, you will need to sell off your condo first, then wait out for 15 months, before you can purchase a resale HDB flat.

If you're above age 55, you can only purchase a resale HDB flat that is up to 4RM in size.
