How to control my condo MA from ever asking for higher maintenance fees?
It is our non-residential small bedder unit (which is now the norm of new condo launches), rental yield is poor and at times none such that may become my adult children's holiday chalets rather than taking in "tenants from hell". It may be our retiree home in the near future but we do not like to pay escalating Mgt Fees when we are not working.

there are many reasons.
Aging conditions of building, Inflation, Higher salary, shortage of manpower etc, that all add up to a need to increase maintenance fund.

Some older condos have a lot of $$ in their sinking funds, they can afford NOT TO increase , but newer condos, even without much facilities, Guards, are paying very high fee.

it is inevitable unfortunately.
