My fees is half month rent for 1 year lease or 1 month rent for 2 years lease. With such a minimal fee, I will be handling marketing, searching and shortlisting only suitable tenants, handling the administrative side such as preparing detailed tenancy agreement/applying for stamp duty and handling any potential disputes with tenant. It is advisable to engage an agent if you are not au-fait with the rental procedures to avoid running afoul with the laws. Both HDB and URA for private property do have regulations on renting.
