Basically the industry guideline for selling is 2%. There are some realtors who charges less and some will charge more. It all depends on the realtor and most importantly the confidence and sales skills. Someone mentioned in their answers that commission should not be the main deciding factor. That one I really fully agree. I firmly believe if you manage to get yourself someone good, the person will be able to save more money for you as compared to the commission you pay.
If you are available, then what I will suggest is that we can actually meet up for a chat and you can see if you are comfortable to work together with me and my partner who is also my wife. Of course I will recommend that you speak to other realtors as well. Most importantly you will need to feel comfortable with the one whom you are working with. Ultimately a property is probably the most expensive item that we buy in our lives. So you must really leave it in the hands of someone whom you feel comfortable with.
By the way just to share a little more about myself and my partner. We have been in this industry for a long while with a combined experience of 18 years.
