In current slow moving resale market, some properties might take up 3 to 6 months of marketing period in addition to 3 to 4 months completion period.

Believe it or not? In today's market sentiments, there are units sold within days from being listed and there are also units which are still left on the shelf despite being in the market for over 9 months. There is no fixed timeline for the sale to be completed if you ask me but rather, determined by what my fellow professionals have already indicated, the pricing of unit and the other conditions.
If your unit is in the premium range, meaning $3m and above, the pool of buyers who are eligible gets smaller therefore may require a longer time to be sold.
From the day you accept a prospective offer, the purchaser has up to 14 days usually to exercise the Option To Purchase and from there, the typical transfer process will take from 6 weeks onwards if there is any loan or utilisation of CPF monies involved in the purchase.
