How do I make a valuation of my private property. How much does it cost to make a valuation. Am I obliged to sell my house after valuation? What if I'm not satisfied with the valuation?

Good morning! ECG Property has their own panel of valuers. If you are keen to have a formal valuation, do let me know. The charges are as such: Property Value below S$1 million @ S$210 + GST Property Value S$1,000,001 to S$2 million @ S$270 + GST Property Value S$2,000,001 to S$4 million @ S$330 + GST Property Value above S$4 million, subject to negotiation Even after obtain the valuation, you are not obliged to sell your property unless it meets your expectation. Normally valuation given by valuers is about the same all across Singapore maybe just a small deviation. If you are not satisfied, maybe wait for it to expire and do another valuation. Hope it helps! Hi, To make an official valuation of your property, you pay a $1,000 odd and it will last you for 3 to 6 months. If you are not happy with the valuation, you can't change it till it expire. Therefore, it will be good for you to do an informal valuation by the bank so that you will have an indication on how much your property is worth. If you are not happy with the price, you can choose not to sell. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you do have other queries.
