How are the prospect for a dual key EC in the next 8to10years?

Dear Ms Tare1919,
The main functionality of the dual key EC is to encourage families of multiple generation to stay close to one another and yet not compromising the privacy of individual families. From an investment point of view, you can stay in 1 of the unit while renting out the other in order to supplement your income or helping out with the mortgage loan. Alternatively, you may opt to rent out both sides of apartments to different occupants, thereby limiting the risks of having the entire unit being vacant. I must say this is the attractive point of dual key ECs. If we are talking about the resale value perspective, I must say that it will be very competitive, given that more dual key units are being rolled out by the various developers regardless if they are EC or private condominium projects.

I would say that dual key unit is here to stay for good. Reason being it is very popular not just for EC but also private property.
