How about overseas property investment? is it good? like those advertise on papers

Hi Chang,
Unless you have absolute confidence or know-how about how the market is for overseas real estate, my advise is do not venture into it. Real estate salespersons can be pitching about how good an investment they are in terms of rental yield and all, but at the end of the day, if this investment turns out sour, they are not going to be responsible for this. Read up more about the trends and perhaps seek advise on someone who has made good returns from overseas real estate before jumping onto the bandwagon. In my opinion, the obvious advantage investing in overseas real estate is in the low quantum you are required to put in as compared to Singapore.
