Hi,

May I know if you bought the flat direct from HDB or is it a resale flat with or without CPF housing grant?

For Resale Flat bought on the open market without CPF housing grant, so long your MOP is fulfilled before the EC is officially completed, you are eligible to do an application in Oct 2014.

If you bought direct from HDB or got it off the open market a resale flat with housing grant, you can only apply in March 2015 when your MOP is met.

If the HDB purchase was done without cpf housing grant,
you will be able to purchase an EC as long as the 5 years MOP is met before the official TOP date.

What are your requirements for the EC? Have you considered Bellewaters? This EC is well located and has great potential for capital appreciation as there are many uncompleted projects which will impact the prices positively.

Hi!

Your eligibility to apply for EC depends on your current status of your HDB flat.

If you had bought this current flat directly from HDB, or from the resale market taking CPF Housing Grant, you will only be able to submit e-apps for new EC after your MOP in March 2015.

Else, if your currently flat was bought from the resale market without taking any CPF Housing Grant, you are free to apply for ECs which TOP date is later than that of March 2015.
