Are you purchasing the resale HDB on your sole name? If so, PHG is only possible if you apply with your parents included in the purchase, which means they must sell their current HDB. If this is not in your plans, then PHG is not possible for you. Thanks and look forward to assist with your housing plans further.

Proximity Housing Grant is applicable if you are buying resale HDB unit under public scheme, with your spouse, or with your parents as essential occupied. Should you opt to purchase the unit with your parents are essential occupier, they will need to remove their ownership status from the current unit.

May I know are you purchasing under single singapore citizen scheme or under public scheme with your spouse if applicable?

No problem under public scheme but if under single singaporean citizen scheme, she has to be included in your purchase application which therefore means that she has to remove her name from current HDB.
